Shavkat Rakhimov will fight with Rogelio Doliguez on February 18th in Chelyabinsk
As we announced earlier, a big boxing and MMA show will take place in Chelyabinsk (Russia) on February 18th. The tournament is organized by RCC Boxing Promotions (Titov Boxing Promotions) with the support of the Governor of Chelyabinsk region Boris Dubrovsky. The venue will be the Ice Arena ‘Traktor’ (the event starts at 17-00 local time). Tickets are already on the market.
One of the most interesting bouts of the show will be a 10-round fight for the vacant WBC Eurasia Pacific Boxing Council super featherweight title (up to 59 kg). Non-defeated representative of Yekaterinburg Shavkat Rakhimov (8-0, 6KO) will fight with a boxer from Philippines Rogelio Jun Doliguez (21-3-2, 15KO).
22-year-old Shavkat Rakhimov according to the results of the year 2016 was announced the “Prospect of the year” among RCC Boxing Promotions’ (Titov Boxing Promotions’) boxers and he really deserved it. During the last year Rakhimov had 6 victorious bouts, in February he won non-bitten and experienced Mirzhan Zhaksylykov from Kazakhstan, and in November Shavkat won WBO youth Intercontinental super featherweight title. In December he successfully defeated his title. In both fights for the titles Shavkat Rakhimov won by KO Jerry Castroverde and Roldan Aldea, both from Philippines.
