Dmitry Milhailenko is preparing for the bout which will take place on July, 10 in Yekaterinburg
Dmitry Mikhaylenko, promising Russian welterweight boxer (up to 66,7 kg), has started preparations for his next bout, which is planned to take place on July, 10, 2017 in Yekaterinburg (Russia). In the meantime Dmitry is training at a new RCC Boxing Promotions training-center in the Chelyabinsk Region on the Itsyl Mountain. General physical preparedness trainings (GPP trainings) will be continued till the beginning of May.
Let us recall that Dmitry Mikhaylenko had his previous bout on November, 18, 2016 in Yekaterinburg (Russia). He defeated Breidis Prescott from Colombia by a technical knock-out in the seventh round and won the interim champion WBC Silver welterweight title. A rival of the 30-year-old Russian in the 12-round fight, which will take place on July, 10 in Yekaterinburg, will be announced later.
It should be noted that 23-year-old Qudratillo Abduqaxorov from Uzbekistan (11-0, 8 KO) is a new WBC Silver welterweight champion. He defeated Charles Manyuchi from Zimbabwe by the knock-out in the first round on March, 25. Representatives of RCC Boxing Promotions have already started negotiating with Abduqaxorov’s team in relation to the fight with Dmitry Mikhaylenko. Dmitry himself said that he is ready to fight with Qudratillo Abduqaxorov for the fWBC Silver belt.
